Toot, the Omani Brand

A discussion session about Toot café, an Omani brand that created its own experience over the years. The session hosted Mr. Salem Al Rashidi, an academic and businessman who launched many successful brands. The session discussed the difference between creating a local brand and entering the global markets against becoming an agent for a global brand and entering the Sultanate. The characteristics of the community and whether it accepts certain types of products and flavours was discussed and adopted in marketing. The event witnessed a great interaction from the audience including entrepreneurs, media personalities, tweeps, and university students.
